Heidi lives in Big Sur, California. Her family lived there many years, and Heidi was a child there. Then there was a fire. Heidi built another more fire resistant house and now she lives there with her husband and gardens there. She has many beautiful fruit trees. The fire even spared some of the lemon, avocado, fig, orange trees. One day I saw Heidi choosing what could live near the Pomegranate Tree. She was wearing old clothes and an old brown felt hat to shade her eyes. To me it was a dance between the two.
